VETERANS SING CHOIR  welcome all veterans and their families to be part of this wonderfully fun group.  It is all about the camaraderie of singing together and the joy that music can bring. 
All abilities are welcome, as a rule we meet fortnightly on a Friday morning at The Colchester Garrison Church, St Alban's the Martyr.
 
 
All the sessions are 10.15 – 12.15pm.  This includes refreshments at the beginning as you arrive and time to chat before we sing.  At every choir session we are also accompanied by a live musician.  During our time of chat you are offered the chance to book lunch next door at the café.  It is totally  optional but a good number of the group attend and it’s a nice way to finish after the mornings fun.  Lunch is payable separately.

Homefield Rd, Colchester CO2 9PF. 
Plenty of parking and easy access.
 
There is a monthly request for donation to contribute towards the cost of the group, £10 a month.  But if this is a struggle, do still reach out and we will do our best to support you.

Veterans Sing is a life line that brings people together through music. Singing is so good for our mental health and our general wellbeing and the camaraderie of singing together is really powerful. The choir also works on combating isolation and loneliness and is a safe place to speak to fellow people who understand life’s challenges as a veteran.
We are currently under the umbrella of Harwich Festival while we apply for our own charity status. We rely on the generosity of others to secure the future of this group, which is really important.
Funding is essential to ensure we can offer the service and the support to the veterans.
